August 12 - Lazy Minecrafting

I'm still not in the mood for doing My Opinion on Every Pokémon Generation 5, so I'm just gonna make a short post about the stuff I did on Minecraft.

Annoying with Respawning Blocks

Note: This is about the minigame Annihilation. To learn more about Annihilation, go here: shotbow.net/forum/wiki/annihilation-getting-started

I don't actually play on Shotbow. I play on another Minecraft server that also has Annihilation, which I'd rather keep private.

In my home Minecraft server's Annihilation, blocks like wood and ores will respawn after being mined. Unlike other servers, placing these respawning blocks will make them respawn on the same spot continuously, allowing the player to make huge wood/ore farms.

I joined a team that had players I hate, so I collected lots of wood and trapped players in it. I also blocked off important entrances/exits and made the base difficult to navigate.
Note that blocks that are close to the nexus (the thing that enemies have to destroy to win) cannot be destroyed.
The blocks to the left of the wood chunk are indestructible.
Annoying, right?

The wooden mess I left behind.

By the way, I played on a private server with a new friend from my home Minecraft server. We had a lot in common, like being a Grammar Nazi and liking Pokémon.
We built a simple 2-story box house with a small farm.
