TL;DR: Sexual harassment is bad and Mangs should be condemned and punished for doing it. However, this does not affect my opinions of Mangs’s older YouTube content. Regardless, I want to stay away from this drama to save myself from the cringe.
On late August, after a long absence, Fire Emblem YouTuber Mangs posted a video called “We Need To Talk” which, from what I’ve heard, is an apology video.
Other Fire Emblem personalities claimed it’s not a legitimate apology considering Mangs has sexually harassed someone else in 2017 before his harassment of Goosaphone, another FE YouTuber.
I didn’t bother to research deeply on this, especially on Mangs’s side, because I want to spare myself from the cringe and focus more on content I want to do. (Also, I rarely watched Mangs anyway even before this issue came to light.)
Regardless, if this sexual harassment is true (judging from some of the screenshots Tweeted by Goosaphone), Mangs should be condemned and punished for it. As a wannabe hero, I am disgusted by sexual harassment.
However, I admit I still enjoy some of Mangs’s older content. Nothing wrong with that. As such, any references I have to Mangs in my old blog posts, including my Yandere Simulator waifu ranking, will not be removed.
However, I will not use any of Mangs’s later content as references.

“LunaticTactician, if you don’t like the Mangs drama, why do you get involved in the YandereDev drama?”
First, I was never a big fan of Mangs in the first place, despite me liking Fire Emblem a lot. While I enjoy some of Mangs’s informative videos and shitposts, I don’t actively follow his Let’s Plays. There are other YouTubers who I watch more often anyway.
Second, the evidence for Mangs’s sexual harassment seems stronger than whatever the gremlins are throwing at YandereDev; YandereDev has debunked most (if not all) of the allegations against him. Mangs seems to be acting like he’s guilty by deleting his social media accounts and some of his later apologies; YandereDev is not doing any of that.
Third, I am an avid fan of Yandere Simulator and I’m eager to see the game grow bigger and bigger. I understand the importance of mental health and support in professional work, especially developing a project as big as Yandere Simulator. I don’t want gremlins to get in the way of YandereDev’s work.
Fourth, I understand you have freedom of speech, but please stop talking to me about the Mangs drama. Thanks.
