"Flexing" my Serenitea Pot 'Cause I'm Sick of the Wuhan Coronavirus

Note that I don't plan to take my Serenitea Pot decoration seriously. After all, like many other players, I have a "Random bullshit go!" realm layout.

Not gonna lie to you, I'm sick and tired of staying here at home for weeks on end, doing the same darn work over and over. The vast majority of my time is spent either teaching English or working in my family store--at the same time, if I have no students, I grind the heck out of Genshin Impact.

Though, being a video gamer, I'm more of an indoor person, the same video games drive me to go outside and have an adventure. I enjoy seeing a variety of sights, just like in video games. There's a sense of accomplishment because of the time and effort needed to have an adventure, including but not limited to the travel time, traversal of tough terrain, and finding the best angles to take scenic pictures. (Yes, I took a photography course in college.)
Serious reasons aside, I simply feel like a Pokémon Trainer when I go on an adventure.

Version 1.6 added the ability for players to add the characters they have into the Serenitea Pot, Genshin Impact's housing system.
I'm a huge sucker for roleplaying, hence why I really like this new feature.
It's also my new way of coping with being stuck at home...for a while.

Enough introduction because I suck at it. Let's get started.

This is a photo I took for my Singaporean friend NachoPizza whose waifu is Fischl.

In addition to the typical "shy with strangers, crazy with friends" personality archetype, NachoPizza is both a story reader and writer. He even told me directly that he is similar to Xingqiu, hence why I chose Xingqiu as Fischl's boyfriend here.

In roleplays involving our OCs, I imagine Nacho and the Prinzessin der Verurteilung living in their own home. My OC would occasionally come and visit for tea if he's not stalking Sucrose or beating up some random hilichurl or Treasure Hoarder with his fists.

Also in our roleplays, he treats the Prinzessin with plenty of respect, so I wanted a bit of that fancy attitude reflected in this shot by adding a tea table.
I also like overhead lamps lighting outdoor tables when I eat at a beach in the real world.

This was my main motivation for writing this post. LET ME GO TO A FREAKIN' BEACH IRL ALREADY!

Each character symbolizes something or someone.
Barbara in her summer outfit is the epitome of summer vacation. (I don't have Jean and I don't plan to get her summer outfit.)
Bennett is here because I'm sick of being stuck at home.
Klee is not only extremely similar to my niece but is mainly here because she's the main character of the Midsummer Island Adventure event. In pool parties with my sister-in-law's family, I played "seize the princess" with the younger boys...and they rekt me with sheer numbers.
Sucrose is my hypothetical girlfriend. I feel like I've never had a real vacation with a friend; all of my "friend" vacations served some kind of important purpose, such as a school field trip or, in the case of my high school crush "Mareeta", an attempt to fix her PC.
Xingqiu is...well, me.

I tried to recreate the kind of beachfront I see on beaches in the Philippines, hence the Mondstadt houses. I just like them better than the Liyue houses--when the Philippines was occupied by the Spaniards, Spanish-style houses were constructed in the City of Manila--I think the German style of Mondstadt houses is closer than Liyue's Chinese style.

I tried to make do with the bushes I have 'cause I only have two palm trees in my inventory. I need the furnishing blueprints and Transient Resin, y'know.

I wanted to combine two things here: my Boy Scout wannabe personality and my Minecraft experience.
(Why didn't I join the Boy Scouts when I was younger?)

I like how tents let you relax and sleep pretty much anywhere. I feel like tents give me a small taste of home while still keeping much of the wilderness experience, unlike, say, a mobile house.

If I don't build Minecraft structures on ground level, I usually make them elevated similar to the hilichurl tower.
They are very simple to build and they let the player easily see incoming threats while staying out of reach of those threats. Pair that with a bow and you can cheap-shot almost any hostile mob.

Tartaglia and Xingqiu, both of which are characters I am very similar to IRL, illustrate my two drastically different behaviors in Minecraft and real life.
In Minecraft, when not doing mundane chores like building and farming, I actively hunt for hostile mobs and, in the case of the Pixelmon mod, wild Pokémon.
In real life, I prefer to slack off and play video games when not staring at the landscape or chatting with someone else.

This one was tough because I had a hard time finding alchemy- or maid-related objects but screw it.

The last time I've ever had a real living room was when I was 8 years old; the living room in my house today is pretty much my paternal grandmother's exclusive territory.

Although I often store my future activities in my head, I still forget them, so I have to rely on reminders represented by the bulletin board.

Unfortunately, the crafting table cannot be placed indoors, so I stuck with the lamp thing in Albedo's Dragonspine camp.
But anyway, when I am curious about something, I get incredibly focused.
